PITTSBORO — John Bonitz, J.A. (Jay) Farrell and John Foley claimed seats on the Pittsboro Town Council on Tuesday, Nov. 7.
With results reported on election night, Bonitz led the race with 571 votes, Farrell with 523 and Foley with 461.
Three seats on the council were up for grabs.
Bonitz and Farrell won reelection to the council, with Foley as the lone newcomer with current councilmember Kyle Shipp running unopposed for mayor.
