Theresa Lillian Messier Armstrong, 83, of Pittsboro, passed away Tuesday, May 5, 2020 at The Laurels of Chatham.
A graveside service was held on Monday, May 11, 2020 at 3 p.m. at Chatham Memorial Park with Pastor Chris Pipes officiating.
She was born in Bristol, CT on August 12, 1936 to the late Henry and Thelma Messier. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Armstrong; daughter, Barbara Duggan and two sisters.
Survivors include daughters, Nancy Avery of Norwich, CT, Laurie Armstrong of Pittsboro and Doris Lucas of Florida; one sister; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
