To the Editor:

Thank you for your article about sexual assault (“What should you do if you or your friend has been sexually assaulted?,” June 24-30 edition) and what to do — it is very informative, as far as it goes; however, it does not go far enough.

I was dismayed and disappointed that you did not include contact information about Chatham County’s local sexual assault service provider, Second Bloom, especially since the majority of your readers live in Chatham:

Second Bloom of Chatham is located at 14 Small St., Pittsboro. Se habla Espanol. 24-hr. Helpline: 919-545-0055; www.secondbloomofchatham.org.

Pittsboro
