RUBY ‘PEE WEE’ TYSOR HERITAGE

Ruby “Pee Wee” Tysor Heritage, 94, of Siler City, passed away on Monday, June 28, 2021, at Coventry House of Siler City.

Mrs. Heritage was born in Lee County on April 16, 1927, the daughter of Ralph J. Tysor Sr. and Marion Kelly. Pee Wee was a graduate of Goldston High School, class of 1944. She retired from Ellis’s Ladies’ Dress Shop and was a member of Mt. Vernon Springs Presbyterian Church. Pee Wee loved to joke around with anyone she met. In addition to her parents, Ruby is preceded in death by her husband, Lacy “Bo” Heritage Jr., and brother, Ralph Tysor Jr.

She is survived by her sister, Jane Tally and husband Bill of Goldston; nieces; Lou Ann Cox and husband Tony, Gale Adouli and husband Jalal; nephews, Timothy Tally and wife Janelle, Dennis Tally and wife Angie, and Greg Tysor and wife Sandy; several great, and great-great nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.

Pee Wee Laid in Repose on Wednesday, June 30, 2021, from 12 to 5 p.m. at Smith & Buckner Funeral Home, 230 North Second Avenue, Siler City, N.C.

The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, July 1, 2021, at Mt. Vernon Springs Presbyterian Church, 1225 Mt. Vernon Springs Road, Siler City, with Pastor Bill Browder officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Masks and social distancing will be appreciated.
