Paul Wesley Woodell, 76, of Cameron, died Monday, November 8, 2021, at First Health Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, November 14, 2021, at the Smith Funeral Home Chapel in Broadway with Pastor Ron Freeland officiating. Burial followed in the Johnson Grove Cemetery.
He was born in Randolph County on May 26, 1945, son of the late Henry Riley and Violet Mae Edwards Woodell. He was preceded in death by his wife, Brenda Kay Woodell and step-son, Stephen Scott Daniel.
Survivors are his daughters, Teressa Rebecca Coggins of Thomasville, Linda Sue Woodell of Sanford, Brenda Lou Woodell of Butner, Alice Faye Ashley of Sanford, and Helen Marie Daniel of Cameron; sister, Shirley Woodell Welch of Asheboro; brothers, John Riley Woodell of Cedar Falls, and Charles Lee Woodell of Franklinville; 13 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.
