Albert Lee Wayne Byerly, 83, of Siler City died Friday, July 2, 2021, at Alamance Regional Medical Center, Burlington.

Mr. Byerly was born in High Point on March 16, 1938, the son of Amos Lester and Aline Presnell Byerly. He was retired from Baker Furniture and Kay-Lyn Furniture in High Point as an upholsterer. Wayne was a member of Randleman Friends Meeting in Randleman. He was an avid golfer, bowler and loved playing horseshoe. Wayne loved watching western movies after his retirement. Mr. Byerly was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Patricia (York) Byerly; two daughters, Angela B. Shaw and husband Keith, Pamula B. Hill and husband Danny, both of Kernersville; one son, Nicky Starr and wife Melissa of Siler City; brothers, Charles Byerly and wife Claudine, Larry Byerly and wife Lillian, both of Randleman, Dewey Byerly of West Palm Beach, Florida; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

A private memorial service will be held.
